Biography

Tim is a registered patent attorney with extensive experience in U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution in aerospace, chemical, electrical, materials, mechanical, and medical device fields; patent portfolio management; and development of corporate patent procedures. At the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Tim’s studies included the development, production, and analysis of chemical and biochemical products. At the University of Houston Law Center, graduating in 2016, Tim was President of the Intellectual Property Student Organization and Editor-in-Chief of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. Previously, Tim worked as Patent Counsel at Polaris Industries, an Associate Attorney at Shumaker & Sieffert, a Law Clerk with ExxonMobil Chemical, a Judicial Intern with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, a Project Engineer with Cargill, and a Technical Writing Intern with the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). He also teaches motorcycle safety courses to new riders in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
